A caramel-beige and cinnabar-red overlay glass 'pavilion and fisherman' snuff bottle
Attributed to Yangzhou, circa 1860-1890
Of compressed oval shape rising from a ringed foot to a slim cylindrical neck, the exterior of the body intricately carved through the cinnabar-red overlayes with a continuous landscape scene revealing a fisherman on a sampan returning to the pier with the catch of the day, an elderly man with a walking stick journeying towards a distant pavilion.
