A white nephrite 'basket weave' snuff bottle
Qing dynasty, 1770-1850
Of compressed globular form, the pale greenish-white stone of even tone skilfully worked in varying levels of relief in resemblance of bamboo, simulating a vessel wrapped for protection in a basket weave casing.
5cm high.

    清 1770-1850 白玉雕柳編紋鼻煙壺

    壺偏圓形,直頸素面,壺身飾柳編紋,平底。壺口較小,掏膛規整,玉質上乘。
