壺呈扁瓶形，平帛，平底卧足。布丁石以淡棕色為底，上有不規則，大小不同的小塊面，有淺黃色、深褐色、棕色等，色彩豐富。
此布丁石很像英國東南部的赫特福德郡出現之布丁石，在維多利亞與愛伯特博物館便有藏布丁石原礦，可參見《中國鼻煙壺協會會訊》，2012年5月，頁18-19。與本壺相似的例子，可參考女莫士撝, Victor Graham 及曾嘉寶著，《A Treasury of Chinese Snuff Bottles: The Mary and George Bloch Collection》，第2冊，第一部份，頁86-87，編號212，後拍賣於香港邦瀚斯，瑪麗及莊智博鼻煙壺珍藏：第五部份，2012年5月27日，拍品編號66。
