A moulded porcelain 'bajixiang' snuff bottle
Qing dynasty, 1790-1820
Of flattened ovoid form, with a flat lip and concave, oval foot, the body reticulated on the exterior and skilfully pierced with the eight auspicious Buddhist emblems on a wispy background, all framed between ruyi-heads and keyfret scroll at the top and bottom, the glaze crackled and of a creamy-white tone, the inner body covered with a thick layer of glaze.

    清 1790-1820 瓷胎模製鏤空八吉祥紋鼻煙壺

    壺扁瓶形,口微撇,短頸、肩部分別飾迴紋及如意雲頭紋一周,圈足,凹底。通身施開片白釉,壺身外壁鏤空並雕模製法輪、海螺、寶傘、白蓋、蓮花、寶瓶、金魚、盤長八吉祥紋飾,壺內膽亦施一層薄釉,壺底近足處飾如意雲頭紋一周,底足亦施白釉開片,微微內凹。
