A lacquer on textile and ivory 'pouch' snuff bottle
Fuzhou, Qing dynasty, 1820-1880
Skilfully formed as a 'pouch', the sumptuous swollen body flanked at the shoulders by handles with pierced circular apertures, the lacquer of a rich lustrous black.
4.8cm high.
