Of sumptuous and flattened pear-shaped body, with a convex lip and recessed foot surrounded by a protruding convex, oval footrim, the exterior with eight cranes in flight amongst blue and red clouds above a rich cafe-au-lait ground, the base with four-character zhuanshu seal mark.

清道光 瓷胎墨綠地粉彩賀壽萬年鼻煙壺 礬紅「道光年製」篆書款
壺扁瓶身，短頸，溜肩，鼓腹，圈足，平口鎏金依稀可見。通體以墨綠釉為地色，壺身兩面分別再以紅、白、藍、墨彩繪四隻展翅飛翔在祥雲中的仙鶴，姿態各異，具有「富貴長壽」或「賀壽萬年」之寓意。圈足內書礬紅「道光年製」篆書款。
道光年間製作的官窯瓷器上開始出現以鬥雞、鴿子、仙鶴、鸚鵡、蟈蟈、蟋蟀等為主題的紋飾，此時嗜好鼻炎的人也增多，鼻煙壺的製作也較前朝更為流行，造型及裝飾更加多樣。瑪麗及莊智博收藏亦有一件清道光瓷胎粉彩仙鶴雲紋鼻煙壺與本壺類似，見莫士撝, Victor Graham 及曾嘉寶著，《A Treasury of Chinese Snuff Bottles: The Mary and George Bloch Collection 》，第6冊，第二部份，頁683，編號1315。
