A cinnabar lacquer 'flautist' snuff bottle

Of compressed heart-shaped form rising from a flat foot to a cylindrical neck, one side carved with a flautist playing a tune whilst seated on rockworks and under a tree, the reverse with another figure seated at a tree stump surrounded by flowers, both figures with their faces turned away, all above a finely carved hexagonal diaper pattern at the background.
