An agate 'rockwork and prunus' snuff bottle
Qing dynasty, 1780-1880
The semi-translucent body of circular form, rising from rounded shoulders to a gently waisted cylindrical neck, one side carved with a blossoming prunus tree, the contours of the rockwork on the sides further enhanced by the natural russet-toned inclusions of the taupe-colour stone.
