A four-colour glass overlay snuff bottle
Qing dynasty, 1700-1780
Of compressed circular form, finely carved through the red, green, pink and blue overlays with a scene of goldfish swimming amidst blossoming lotus and pods issuing from leafy sprays on both sides.
5.9cm high.

  • 清 1700-1780 藕粉地套年年有餘鼻煙壺

    壺呈扁瓶形,直頸,橢圓形圈足。藕粉地玻璃中白色泡點細密,上套一層三色玻璃,包括紅、藍、綠色,壺正反面題材一致,雕以水上蓮花及一條魚兒,魚兒尾部擺動,身子成弧形,表示出游動之態。「蓮花」及「游魚」諧音「年年有餘」,祝願每年都有盈餘。
