Hailing from the distinctly non-Urban setting of rural Devon, England, Mau Mau attributes his 'free range' style to the influence of the green hills and ocean waves. To date he has been involved in a number of group shows across Europe, held two sell-out shows in Tokyo and earlier this year also held his first one-man exhibition in London to great acclaim. His commissioned projects have included work for British rappers Dizzee Rascal and Roots Manuva, as well as many charities such as Greenpeace and Free Burma. His work is often political, demonstrating his strong views on big business, globalization and the environment.
