Although he also works in sculpture, printmaking and photography, it is Beejoir's spray paint and stencil pieces which are undoubtedly his best known and most visually powerful. Born in the UK, the artist now spends much of his time in Bangkok, and has held sell-out shows in both countries. Consumerism, the oil industry and religion are just some of the targets of his barbed humor, a humor which is achieved using bold, graphic images. In works such as Immodium he turns his attention towards a fellow artist, taking a cheeky sideswipe at one of the most icon images of Contemporary Art.
