Following his starring role in the 2010 Academy Award nominated movie Exit Through the Gift Shop, Mr. Brainwash hardly needs an introduction. One of the Urban Art world's most unlikely 'superstars', Brainwash (real name Thierry Guetta) was catapulted to world-wide fame following the release of the Banksy-directed documentary, leaving behind his origins as a shop owner and amateur film maker to follow his artistic dream. The reaction of collectors has been overwhelming, with the artist now exhibited across the globe. Highlights of his career so far have been sell-out shows in London and Los Angeles, as well as his commission to design the cover for Madonna's 2009 hits collection Celebration.
