Sugata (configuration): hon-zukuri, mitsu-mune, wide, even mi-haba, koshi-zori, o-gissaki
Kitae (forging pattern): flowing itame with hada-dachi and jifu in ji-nie
Hamon (tempering pattern): gunome and ko-notare in sugu-ba with ko-ashi, hotsure, uchinoke, tobi-yaki, niju-ba, midare-utsuri and copious fine nie
Boshi (tip): sugu-ba with haki-kake and a shallow return
Nakago (tang): o-suriage, saki-giri with kiri file marks and one hole
Habaki (collar): one-piece, gold-foil
Nagasa (length from tip to beginning of tang): 28in (71.2cm)
Motohaba (width at start of tempered edge): 1 1/4in (3.2cm)
Sakihaba (width before tip): 1 3/16in (3cm)
In shirasaya (wood storage scabbard) with sayagaki, signed and dated by [ ]
With certificate designating this sword as the 46th Juyo Token (Precious sword) no. 10792 issued by the Nihon Bijutsu Token Hozon Kyokai (The Society for the Preservation of the Japan Art Sword), dated 2000.10.5.
