Sugata (configuration): hon-zukuri, iori-mune with a very shallow torii-zori and a large, extended chu-gissaki
Kitae (forging pattern): itame
Hamon (tempering pattern): gunome-choji in nie with sunagashi, ashi and yo
Boshi (tip): midare-komi, Jizo
Nakago (tang): ubu, kuri-jiri with two holes and suji-kai file marks
Habaki (collar): two-piece, gilt-copper
Nagasa (length from tip to beginning of tang): 29 3/4in (75.6cm)
