Kitae (forging pattern): ko-itame
Hamon (tempering pattern): juka-choji-midare with nie, ashi and tobi-yaki
Boshi (tip): sugu-ba, ko-maru
Nakago (tang): o-suriage with suji-kai file marks, two holes and signed Yamato (no) kami Yoshimichi
Habaki (collar): two-piece, shakudo and gold
Nagasa (length from tip to beginning of tang): 28 3/8in (72cm)
