Hon-zukuri, iori-mune, chu-gissaki, torii-zori, forged in a flowing itame-hada, the tempered edge sugu-ba with a ko-maru boshi, carved with bo-hi on both sides, the tang ubu, kuri-jiri with one hole and indistinct file marks, signed Bizen Osafune ju Tadamitsu and dated Tenbun san-nen hachi-gatsu bi (A day in the eighth month of 1534); one-piece gold-foil habaki; 26 1/4in (66.5cm) long
