Hon-zukuri, iori-mune, chu-gissaki, torii-zori with itame hada and a gunome-midare tempered edge, the boshi midare-komi, the tang ubu, kuri-jiri with one hole and kiri file marks, signed Nobukuni; with a two-piece shakudo habaki; 25 6/16in (64.2cm) long

Hon-zukuri, iori-mune, chu-gissaki, torii-zori with ko-itame hada and a ko-notare-midare tempered edge, ko-maru boshi, the tang ubu, iri-yamagata with two holes and o-sujikai file marks, signed Oshu ju Kanesada; with a two-piece shakudo habaki; 16 1/2in (64.1cm) long

Daisho koshirae comprising nashiji-lacquer saya mounted with shakudo fittings carved with scrolling vines, the kurikata shakudo with chrysanthemums in iroe taka-zogan and heraldic crests of the Asai family, the dai with a copper kogai decorated with flowering vines in shakudo taka-zogan, the sho with shinchu kozuka-gogai decorated with dragons in clouds in gold and shakudo taka-zogan; tsukas wrapped in baleen and mounted with fuchi-gashira matching the kurikata and the kojiri and with large gilt-copper dragon menuki; each with Soten school iron sukashi tsuba carved with an ascetic and a demon in a bamboo grove and Shoki and an oni, the sho signed Eshu Hikone ju Soheishi Soten saku kore
