The iron sukashi plate pierced with a design of two praying mantises standing among leaves and branches with details carved in ke-bori, with brass hira-zogan highlights around the rim

With Hozon Tosogu (Sword fitting worthy of preserving) certificate no. 458032 issued by the Nihon Bijutsu Token Hozon Kyokai (The Society for the Preservation of the Japan Art Sword), dated 2009.4.30.
