Royal Bucks Yeomanry Cavalry, Officer's Full Dress Sabretache, Shoulder Belt, Pouch and Waist Belt, Foul Weather Covers and Named Carrying Tin
Remarkably fine examples, both the sabretache and pouch have silver train lace, black velvet faces and the same central bullion lace ornaments; these being St. Edward's crown over the 'VR' cypher. The sabretache bag of green moroccan, the three 'D' rings and all other elements present. The foul weather cover has a face of black patent leather but the reverse is green moroccan. The box of the pouch and
its foul weather cover are both of green moroccan, as is the shoulder belt. This is faced with silver lace bearing a green silk central stripe. The pricker plate, chains, guard and all other metal fittings are of silver plate. The waist belt again of green moroccan is faced with silver and central green stripe lace, and is complete with all bretache and sword slings, the clasp of simple double swans' head pattern. The japanned carrying tin with brass plaque, 'F.D.HIBBERT ESQre Bucks Yeoy Cavy'. The waist belt with some service wear otherwise in very fine overall condition.
