A Military Postcard Album.
A truly magnificent compilation formed by the late Patrick Murray MBE, FSA, Curator and Founder of The Museum of Childhood in Edinburgh. The album contains approximately 450 cards, the vast majority covering the period c. 1903 - 1920, but a few later issues do stretch into the early part of the present reign. Mr. Murray has attached publisher's details, set numbers, quantity etc. A great number are by Raphael Tuck and feature in depth the work of Harry Payne, one of the finest military artists of the period. Most examples are in mint, unused state and retain excellent colouring.
