A suitcase containing a quantity of items mainly pertaining to a Captain J.C. Mitchie. Including a peaked khaki dress cap bearing a bronze RIASC cap badge, three Sam Browne belts, one with sword frog. Osd cap badges to the RIASC RASC (GVR & GVIR) Royal Signals (first) Royal West Kents, a silver plated RIASC cap badge (three part with central GRI). Other ranks cap badges to the Queen's (second) Leicestershire, Royal West Kent REME (first) WW2 bakelite issues to the Royal Signals and General Service. An officer's pair of brown leather ankle boots, sundry Lieutenant's cloth 'slip-on' 'RASC' shoulder straps. Assorted RASC buttons, cloth and metal rank stars. RASC neck tie and two RASC 'squares', an RASC (GVR) swagger stick with white metal finial. Various Div signs and shoulder titles, including a scarce pair of printed 'SY/4' Home Guard examples, a pair of embroidered Home Guard (yellow on khaki) shoulder titles, and a single embroidered (white on black) 'New Zealand' s/title. A large printed Union Jack flag (no mounts or halyards). Together with a large box containing Mitchie's Service Record, Pay Books, photos RASC Journals etc. (Quantity)
