A rare Meissen beaker, circa 1722-25
Painted in underglaze-blue, enamels and gilding with flowering branches of indianische Blumen issuing from stylised rockwork, and a bird in flight on the reverse, between double-line borders to the rims, 6.7cm high, caduceus mark within concentric circles in underglaze-blue (small restored rim chip)
