A gilt-bronze figure of Amitayus
Qianlong, dated 1770
Cast seated in dhyanasana with hands in dhyana mudra, adorned in an elaborate high crown and jewellery, the folded robe depicted flowing over the platform raised on openwork floral vertical splayed frames, the platform frame incised with a nine-character mark, the interior with a lightly carved two-character 'renba' location mark.
21.5cm high.
