Ming dynasty Heavily cast with an ovoid shaped body ending in a flared rim, decorated on each side with a pair of winged pegasus flanking a stylised flower, beneath a series of downward pendants and alternating keyfret borders and bands of pointed tips, the top with two moths separated by a cloud scroll handle. 18.8cm high.

The illustrated example is identical to the current lot, except the handle is that of a double-headed serpent.
