A small sancai-glazed ewer
Tang dynasty
Of sumptuous spherical form rising to an everted neck, applied at the shoulder with a short spout with further five moulded leaves, each splashed with contrasting tones of dark green and rich honey-amber, with some of the glaze running downwards towards the splayed foot to create a trickling effect, box.
