    'Xuce Paocheng' is a scene from the traditional Beijing opera titled 'Xuegang Fantang'. The long inscription translates 'Zhou Xinfang, also known as Qilin Tong, is a famous Chinese Beijing opera actor which performs the role of an elderly man, acting in the opera Xuce Paocheng'. The other inscription translates 'made by Liu Shouben, the finest of the Jing class, spring of 'renshen' year (1992)', followed by a seal of the artist.
