A fine jadeite snuff bottle
Late Qing dynasty Of slightly flattened rectangular form with gently sloping shoukldersm supported on a raised foot, the icy white stone with brilliant splashes of apple-green. 5.8cm high.
A similar jadeite snuff bottle, formerly in the Guo'an collection and latterly the Ruihetang collection, was sold in these rooms, 21 May 2009, lot 1010, and is now in the Robert Chang collection, illustrated in A Special Exhibition of Snuff Bottles from Mr. Robert Chang's Collection, Suzhou Museum, 2012, p.114, no. 234.
