An inside-painted smoky-quartz 'plum blossom and fish pond' snuff bottle
Wang Xisan, circa 1960-62 (the bottle Qing dynasty) Beautifully painted with a scene of a fish pond with lotus blossoms on one side, the other with a female figure admiring plum blossoms, sold with original auction catalogue. 5.7cm high.

The inscriptions read 'hetang qingqu' or 'fascination of the fish pond' and 'shangmei' or 'admiring plum blossoms'. Signed Xisan with one seal of the artist.
