Naturalistically fired in imitation of a plum blossom tree trunk, the semi-circular cross-sectioned body with a flat back, the exterior with realistic and finely worked texture of gnarled branches issuing flowering plum blossoms in high relief, a square seal mark at the bottom right corner, fitted box.

民國朱泥段泥梅花樁掛瓶

「鼎南」金文方印

掛瓶成梅花樁形，樹幹上樹洞粗糙，甚有質感，老樹幹上長出新枝，枝幹扭轉自然，上長梅花朵朵，寓意衰而不老。以朱泥為樹幹，以段泥為新枝，上染棕色，是混用不同紫砂泥之作。樹幹低處鈐「鼎南」金文方印。
