Of rectangular octagonal form, each side incised with inscriptions in xingshu and zhuanshu, set with a jade loop handle and straight spout, surmounted by a flat cover with jade knop.

    此壺紫砂包錫,壺體呈四方委角形,平肩呈八方形高頸,蓋頂嵌白玉方形鈕,直流及方形柄均嵌以白玉,方正規矩,壺身一面刻篆書「玄霜玉露和輕雲,浮曉明月生秋巒」,另一面則刻以行楷書「欲將何物招佳客,一片冰心在玉壺。」,落款「王洽」。
