Finely worked to reveal the naturalistic grain, rising from a short foot to a compressed globular body, flanked by a handle and a spout on each side, all surmounted by a dome-shaped cover with a flattened knop.

    硯滴作茶壺形,光素,壺腹飽滿、圓拱形蓋、圓鈕、直流把、耳形把、圈足,壺壁薄薄,上有小許竹斑,雕工嫻熟,整體清雅脫俗,為清文雅玩精緻用品。

    明清以來,以竹雕仙佛人物及文房用品最為普遍,以竹雕製茶壺形硯滴則為少數。
