Each naturalistically potted above a further two mini spiral shells, the main body set with two lotus stems handles, issuing a lotus bud and a lotus leaf individually at the ends, one with a cover surmounted by another small shell.

    壺作海螺形,頭尾細窄,中間橢圓形腹腔,壺底以兩顆小螺螄作足,一壺配蓋,蓋以螺螄作鈕,壺身均仿生海螺貝殼,貝殼外壁雕刻紋理並飾突出乳釘,上朔兩隻合併的蓮枝作提梁,枝頭處分別結一篇荷葉及一朵含苞欲放的蓮花,形象生動。朱泥燒製顏色鮮豔,質地緊密,使壺蓋與胎身摩擦時發出清脆聲音。
