An exhibition standard model of the French ship L'Orion

the hull, built up in lifts, with a copper plated bottom, painted yellow and black topsides, the deck is planked and pegged and fitted with numerous details which include: anchors, pin and fife rails, cannons on carriages, hammock nets (fitted with hammocks), 3 boats stacked and lashed amidships, water casks, windlass, bilge pump, flagstaff, ornately detailed quarter galleries and transom, standing and running rigging, and a complete set of hand stitched linen sails.
