A copper alloy figure of Shiva
Cambodia, Banteay Kdei style, mid 12th/early 13th century
Standing on a block platform powerfully modeled with short stocky legs, short sampot and a bare torso, adorned with high armbands and thick necklace, both arms bent at the elbow with hands slightly dropped holding a fragmented trident. His face with incised features and wearing a tall chignon adorned with an om symbol.
