A volcanic stone female bodhisattva
Java, 10th-12th century
With three heads and six arms, the goddess's primary hands hold a vajra in the right and the in left held in tarjani mudra, she sits in a posture of royal ease on a lotus base supported by various figures and prostrate figure below her right foot.
