Two gilt copper repoussé mandala elements
Tibet, 13th/14th century
The two irregular shaped curved panels showing the outer edges of a mandala. The top panel has two ritual vases and a parasol amongst scrolling forms below a band with scenes from the charnel grounds and an outer band of flames. The lower panel has a band of scenes from the charnel grounds flanked by bands of lotus leaves and vajras, below the outer band of flames.
