A copper alloy palanquin ring
Cambodia 12th/13th century
The lower section with a plain curved suspension band rising up to two dragon heads biting and grasping the tail and neck of a naga forming the upper loop, and terminates in a projecting head on the right side. The upper edges are cast with projecting leaf or fin motifs and surmounted by a layered lotus bud.
