MIMEOGRAPHED FROM A TYPESCRIPT FAIR COPY, with a few manuscript corrections. Compilation of historical indecent language. In the synonyms volume, for example, there are 12-pages of entries, in several languages, under the heading "MAN ... in his lawful or unlawful relations to woman." Cary's sources included Ash, Bailey, Bartlett, Cotgrave, d'Urfey, Florio, Grose, Halliwell, Johnson, Mayhew, and others.
