4to (197 x 137 mm). A6 2A-E4 3A-Q8/4/4 R6. Double column. Title printed in red within decorative black border by Daniel Hopfer. Period quarter blind-stamped vellum over plain boards, small remnant of clasp. Intermittent browning and minor dampstain, narrow wormtrail to top margin at beginning and end touching a few letters, recased with new endpapers, fore-edge of upper cover replaced.
FIRST EDITION. A dictionary arranged by subject matter, with particular reference to Grapaldus' Encyclopedia. Adams P1254; Proctor 10754.
