c.1962 Bultaco 200cc Sherpa S
Better known for its competitive Pursang motocrossers or the trend-setting Sherpa T trials bike, Bultaco also made purpose-built flat-trackers. There was the Astro 250 and 360 in the 1970s, but well before that Bultaco sold the Sherpa S, available in 100, 125, 175 and 200cc displacements as far back as 1961. This S-model, with pockmarked numberplates and low-slung expansion chamber, looks like it just came off some county fair short track.
