c.1956 MV Agusta Racer
Unlike Allan Aaron's 175 Squalo which has been maintained in largely as-delivered condition, his other MV Agusta 175 race bikes were thoroughly updated for vintage road racing competition. During his service in Europe, Aaron raced at many of the grand old continental circuits and upon his return to the U.S. entered AHRMA events. Among the many updates was a change to more modern telescopic forks and aftermarket rear shocks. A larger Dellorto carb with remote-mount float was another performance upgrade, likewise the Akront shouldered alloy rims and tuned exhaust.
Most recent AHRMA inspection sticker seen on the bike indicates it was last raced in 1997, so a mechanical and safety inspection is in order, as well as an update to current safety requirements, before the bike takes to the track again.
