c.1956 MV Agusta Racer
Obviously built as a serious vintage road racer, this MV 175 from the Aaron collection exudes a track-ready demeanor. A visual walkaround of the machine shows later telescopic forks and Koni shocks, a remote-float Dellorto carb, alloy rims, a megaphone exhaust and lots of holes drilled for lightness. We also see a nicely sculpted fiberglass gas tank and a flyscreen front numberplate. Not so obvious are an updated ignition system and more modern tachometer.
Likely last ridden in anger during the 1990s, the bike would need to be updated to meet current AHRMA safety regs namely the addition of an under-engine oil-catch tray but with those changes and a mechanical going-over, the bike should be as race-ready as ever.
