1976 Husqvarna 390CCM
Husky motocross bikes dominated the Grand Prix world championships in the 1960s and 1970s, winning 12 titles in the 125, 250 and 500cc classes. As the '70s progressed and long-travel suspension came to the fore, Husky responded with the 390 CR for the Open class. A new frame, strengthened swingarm, moved-up twin shocks and an air/spring fork gave almost a foot of travel front and rear. This low-hours example, in the correct black with gold accents, still looks purposeful almost four decades later.
