A pair of Egyptian limestone dummy canopic jars
Third Intermediate Period, circa 1069-702 B.C.
In the form of the Sons of Horus, the baboon-headed Hapi and the falcon-headed Qebehsenuef, with details of the eyes added in black, carved out of a single piece of limestone, a carved line indicating the division between the jar and the lid, 9¾in (25cm) high (2)
