Four Luristan bronzes
Iran, circa 9th-7th Century B.C.
Including two crescent bladed axe heads with cylindrical shaft holes, 2½in-3in (6.4cm-7.6cm) high; a circular bridle attachment, surmounted by a stylised female figure, her arms raised, 4in (10.2cm) high,, mounted; and a horse cheek piece, with cheek terminals in the form of a goat, 8in (20.3cm) long (4)
