A mid-17th century boarded oak desk box, English, circa 1650 - 1660
The top with channel-moulded and chip-carved ends above a conforming slope, fitted to the interior with a channel-moulded shelf, the front frieze well-carved with an alternating run of flowerhead-filled roundels and lozenges, 67cm wide x 50cm deep x 32.5cm high, (26" wide x 19.5" deep x 12.5" high)
