This painting is sold with accompanying Papunya Tula Artists documentation that reads in part: 'This painting depicts designs associated with the rockhole site of Wirrulnga, slightly east of the Kiwirrkurra in Western Australia. In mythological times a large group of Tingari Men visited this site after travelling from further west and passing through the Kiwirrkurra area. They later continued east to Tarkul, near Mt. Webb and then north to Wilkinkarra (Lake Mackay).'
