probably Italian, the circular specimen marble top with a radially segmented central section, encompassed by a stylised ribbon border, comprised of various marbles including Violet Brocatelle, Yellow Safra and Red Levanto, above a shaped, scrolled and flowerhead frieze, on three floral carved C-scroll legs terminating in ceramic castors, with a printed paper label underneath the marble top bearing: 'PIETRO LOPES, LABORATORIO DI AGATE DI ASPRI, E MARMI DI SICILIA', the specimen marble top Italian, the walnut base possibly north European, 82cm wide x 81.5cm deep x 74cm high, (32" wide x 32" deep x 29" high)
