An Edwardian mahogany and satinwood banded billiards cabinet
made by Thurston & Co
the broken pediment cornice with central urn above a bevelled mirror flanked by panelled doors enclosing inlaid score boards for each colour and 'black boards' to the reverse of each door, with ebonised numbered rotating cylinders above and below. Above a hinged fall enclosing the balls (some missing), the base fitted with a central door fitted to house the balls flanked by a lead lined divided cellaret drawer and four short drawers on square tapering legs, labelled to the front: 'Thurston & Co ltd, London', 126cm wide x 47cm deep x 194cm high, (49.5" wide x 18.5" deep x 76" high)
