the rounded rectangular hinged ratcheted top with a book rest, over a panelled frieze, on ring turned and channelled tapering legs joined by a concave platform undertier, intersected to the centre with a brass wheel for adjusting the height of the square section columnar support above, terminating in brass castors, stamped to the underside of the top: 'H. OGDEN, MANCHESTER, 2380', 61cm wide x 40cm deep x 76cm high, (24" wide x 15.5" deep x 29.5" high)
